Oxford City Council's Crime and Nuisance Action Team (CANAcT) were
formed in 2001 with a specific remit to address issues of anti-social behaviour (ASB) within the community. ASB
means different things to different people and may include:
Unreasonable levels of noise
Threatening and drunken behaviour
Vandalism, including
graffiti and fly-posting
Dealing or buying drugs in your street
Setting off fireworks
Unreasonable
behaviour of neighbours and visitors to their property
Criminal
damage to your property or your neighbourhood
What CANAcT will do CANAcT will deal with
your complaint in the strictest confidence. A Case Manager will be allocated to investigate all available evidence. This could
involve a visit to your home to discuss your problem, writing to or interviewing your neighbour(s), and providing you with
a diary to collect evidence of the issue.
If you believe you are a victim of anti-social behaviour, don't suffer
in silence. Complete the on-line form below. This will automatically be sent to CANAcT to investigate.

There are many different types of anti-social behaviour which are
not necessarily dealt with by CANAcT. Below are a list of issues that require the help of services other than CANAcT.
