Marston and Northway Neighbourhood Action Group

Work of the NAG

Last updated: 26 August 2010

This page tells you about the work of the Marston NAG.

In early 2008, the Marston and Northway NAG first consulted local residents to find out what they considered to be their main community safety concerns for the area. The most common 3 concerns were then set as the priorities for the NAG to resolve. Since then, the NAG has consulted the community again to identify new priorities for the area. The NAG meets approximately every 8 weeks to discuss work and progress on the priorities, and any other issues that may arise.

The current priorities for the Marston and Northway NAG are:

Priorities:

1 Speeding and parking - there are speeding concerns across the NAG area, and parking issues
on Rippington Drive, Mortimer Drive and Oxford Road.
2 Litter - problems on Westlands Drive, Cherwell Drive and Salford Road. Dog fouling on parks across the NAG area.
3
Anti-social behaviour - Groups of noisy teenagers hanging around in front of the shops on Westlands Drive, Maltfield Road and Plowman Tower.
